(All entries will be accepted until Saturday, November 25th at 11:59pm EST. On Sunday, November 26th, depending on the number of entries, I will select up to one (five entries), two (ten entries), or three (fifteen+ entries) as the contest winners! Those people will be gifted 1) one year's paid time, 2) six months paid, and 3) three months paid to one of their chosen RP journals!

So, we ended up with a total of 11 contest entries which was a lot more than I was anticipating, but it was totally cool to see the growth of entries through the week and all the cool turkeys that appeared in my inbox! Time's really flown by though and it's 'bout that time to announce the winners! All in all, I had a very difficult time choosing the winners because there were so many good entries that I continued to look through over and over again, but there can only be one two!

To clarify how winners were chosen, I based it upon the visible attention put into the turkeys to transform them into characters and how recognizable they were as those characters. Those whose canons I wasn't familiar with I got non-participating friends to point me in the right direction of their canons and decide from there.

So, without further ado!

Beyond the effort that was clearly put into this turkey from the coloring to the background to the text to making sure everything in the composition clicked, it's very clear that without a doubt, this is Eleven from Stranger Things. Even without the quote, I could tell from the clothing to the hair to the glare on her face that this turkey was definitely that character.

2nd

From the pebbled skin to the purple hair and even the cloak he consistently wears, I could immediately tell this was Zelgadis from Slayers. The sword was a nice addition, too, and I especially like now they incorporated the cloak in a way that it drapes over the tail feathers.

Honorable Mention goes out to this one for making me laugh so hard, I had a coughing fit.

I actually was thinking that over after the fact and am glad you brought attention to it! It can be a random character from a canon (and from any medium ie. live action, animation, movies, books, etcetc., for that matter). I'll adjust that in the rules!

A fair question!

The plan is that I'd announce the winners by linking the specific turkeys being awarded and those people would shoot me a message. But! If those entering who would feel concerned of their turkey being claimed by someone else, I'm more than open to them submitting their turkey via a sock account. I'm really only asking for it to be submitted anonymously to keep it unbiased. /o/!
